Sticki Rolls just released a limited edition series in collaboration with Aphmau!
A little background – Aphmau is a very popular Youtuber (over 20 million subscribers), most known for her Minecraft role-play videos. Sticki Rolls is a wearable sticker bracelet and necklace brand we previously briefly covered in our holiday gift guide. All of the Sticki Roll sets, including the new Aphmau ones, can all be used together and are fully mix-and-match.
There are several Aphmau Sticki Rolls necklace and bracelet sets available, but for this review, I received two of the mystery capsules to review and add-on to our exising collection of Sticki Rolls bracelets and necklaces.
Each capsule contains an assembled bracelet with five sticki rolls, a sticker page for the sticker binder, and a checklist of all of the available sticki rolls in the Aphmau sets. The checklist shows the name and rarity of each roll.
The bracelets and binder pages are also random per capsule. Sticki Rolls bracelets and necklaces are very easy to build and customize – the ends come off fairly easily to swap out Sticki Rolls and beads, so the more sets you have, the more customizability there is.
While the Aphmau necklace packs also include the sticker collector binder, we had one from our previous sets and the Aphmau pages fit just fine. Each page has different things on it – some are just collecting specific stickers (like this Aphmau collection page), while other pages leave more room for creativity like “pick 6 stickies that show your favorite foods” or “pick 6 stickies that remind you of your favorite places.” Though I must admit that while my daughter put some stickies into her binder, most of them ended up on papers, folders, given to friends (which is really the main goal of Sticki Rolls), and even one she thought I would like I found on the steering wheel of my car!
In general, I am not the biggest fan of mystery toys and collectibles, but I really feel like Sticki Rolls in both the bigger sets and the blind capsules are one of the few that is worth the price if your kids like stickers and jewelry. The stickers are all very cute and come in such a wide variety, that even without the jewelry component, I think they are worth it. My daughter has made bracelets and necklaces for her friends for their birthdays for almost a year now with her original sets, and already has plans for her Aphmua Sticki Rolls.
